This year in youth group we're exploring ideas around journey and pilgrimage. As you come across thoughts, quotes, questions, or resources relating to our theme, please share them here!

When Noreen (a member of St. Gregory's) heard that our youth group was exploring pilgrimage this year, she suggested I read "Grandma's on the Camino" by Mary O'Hara Wyman. It's the true story/memoir of a 70 year old grandma who went on a 500 mile walking pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, and sent a daily postcard home to her granddaughter in San Francisco.

"A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. And all plans, safeguards, policing, and coercion are fruitless. We find that after years of struggle that we do not take a trip; a trip takes us."
